Whether from surgery or traumatic injury, peptide stacks help aid in recovery.
Peptides can accelerate muscle repair in a number of ways. They can reduce inflammation and help your body make more proteins, the building blocks of muscle. They can also stimulate your own natural growth hormone production, which stimulates cell reproduction and regeneration, leading to muscle growth. Peptides can also enhance collagen production which is necessary for muscle, tendon and ligament repair
It is best to start therapy as soon after an acute injury as possible. My favorite peptides stack (combination) for surgical or injury recovery are BPC157 and TB500.
BPC157 has the ability to help heal soft tissue injuries such as muscle, ligament and tendon sprains and tears, at the site of injury. BPC157 does this by repairing damage and regenerating new soft tissue locally. BPC157 promotes vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), to create new blood vessel growth. These new blood vessels improve blood flow to injured tissues, bringing increased blow to the area. This blood flow brings nutrients to the area and cleans away damaged cells.
TB500, or thymosin beta, reduces inflammation and it enhances blood vessel formation and collagen production which speeds up tissues' regeneration. It does this though increased angiogenesis, or new blood vessel formation, and blood flow. It may also help reduce fibrous adhesions and scar tissue, both of which can hinder recovery. This is a crucial part of how it helps you heal from surgical incisions or traumatic injuries and has broader healing properties than BPC157
Simply put BPC157 is more of a local healer while TB500 works systemically - together they are a potent combo to speed up surgical recovery and improve quality of healing. This can also lead to less dependance on need for pain medication or anti-inflammatories like NSAIDs.
For the best results, these medications are injected, subcutaneously (just below the skin), at prescribed intervals, based on the injury and desired effect. There are also oral forms available, but in general, the injectable forms have the most potency for skeletal muscle recovery.
